Handsome, charming, articulate and close-knit, this youthful quintet of brothers and sisters, all virtuosic concert pianists, love classical music so profoundly they want to share it with everyone else. Each of the Browns Desirae , Deondra, Gregory Melodyand Ryan has a distinctive and discriminating keyboard talent, honed at New York’s Juilliard School, where for five consecutive years they studied simultaneously. They have chosen to cast their lot together as a unique quintet of classical pianists, performing on five pianos, and in various ensemble combinations. William Butler is a band member of the band The Arcade Fire. He is the
brother of Arcade Fire front man Win Butler. William plays synthesizer,
bass and percussion. Will is the grandson of (Famous Mormon) guitarist Alvino Rey. While at Northwestern he worked as a DJ for WNUR RockShow.While at Northwestern he voice-acted in two animated short films, Date Double, a brief romantic comedy, and Ron Leia Run, a Star Wars Run Lola Run fan film in which he played the role of Han Solo. Cherie Callsinger |
Singer/songwriter Cherie Call was born and
raised in Mesa, Arizona, and has been performing in front of
appreciative audiences since she was three. By the time she turned
13, Cherie was writing and performing many of her own songs.
Following her high school graduation, she moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, where she graduated in music in 1997. She began recording several self-released albums, including One Star, Taken, and Heart Made of Wind, the latter released in November 2000. She has also been featured on seven other albums, including the best-selling album Women of Destiny, A Season for Courage, Remember the Promise, Look and Live, Whatever It Takes, and the soundtracks from the theatrical releases God’s Army, Brigham City, and Charly. Appeared on Grease: You're the One That I Want on NBC.
BYU-grad Jason Celaya, who lives in Highland and teaches dance at
the Center Stage studio in Orem, was a finalist in this reality
competition show. Celaya's regional theater credits include Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story , Fiddler on the Roof and Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. He danced with Origins dance company, and he has choreographed for other dance companies as well as for the Utah Jazz Girls (NBA).
